Bradford College

Bradford College has been delivering high quality education for 175 years and with approximately 20,000 students is one of the largest college's in the country. The college is also the largest provider of higher education outside of the university sector in England and boasts three centres of vocational excellence (Gas Innovation & CPD Centres, Applied Science and Beauty and Complementary Therapies).

As well as serving individual students, Bradford College also provides customised training solutions to a range of small, medium and large businesses throughout the public and private sector.

The college is embarking on a major £120 million new build strategy the plans for which are amongst the most ambitious for any college in the country.


Calderdale College

Calderdale College is the single further education college within the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale. As a provider of courses from entry level upwards - and the only provider of Higher Education in the borough we offer the opportunity to reach further in Calderdale - an area that combines lively town living with the creativity of alternative rural lifestyles. The College's partnership with several universities has brought BA Honours Degrees and Foundation Degrees to Calderdale for the first time. Working closely in collaboration with local employers the College has developed truly vocational education at all levels.

Joseph Priestley College

Leeds College of Technology is a friendly and welcoming further education college where our students are taught by highly qualified tutors with experience of working in industry. As a result, students receive `hands on` training in real work environments and work with up-to-date industry standard equipment. There are opportunities for work placements on some courses and we have excellent links with industry, so trips to relevant companies can be organised. Leeds College of Building

Established in 1960, Leeds College of Building has a well earned reputation as a provider of high quality education and training. We are the only specialist further education construction College in the UK and are equipped with the facilities and resources to be able to deliver a wide range of courses. The college has a friendly atmosphere with good support facilities available to students to ensure they get the most out of their time here.

Courses offered range from entry level to degrees across a variety of subjects including management & technician, construction crafts and mechanical and electrical services such as plumbing and electrical installation. We also offer specialist short courses in areas such as health & safety, computer aided design, gas safety and environmental/sustainable energies. Most craft courses contain a high level of practical work within our workshops.


Leeds Metropolitan University

Leeds Metropolitan is one of the largest universities in the country, with around 30,000 students and 3,500 staff. The University has two contrasting learning environments in Leeds, the traditional setting of one campus in the world famous sporting area of Headingley and one intertwined with the business, health, civic and entertainment quarters of Leeds.

Wakefield College

Wakefield College has provided education and training in the Wakefield District since 1868, and today is home to some 10,000 part-time and 3,000 full-time students.

A broad ranging portfolio of courses, from pre-entry level through to higher education and professional qualifications, is on offer to students of all ages and abilities. The Services to Business provides high quality customised training to businesses, and the well respected Centres of Vocational Excellence in Management and Information Communication Technology are innovative and successful.

The College plays a leading role in regional regeneration and plans are well advanced for a new state of the art learning facility - the Skills Xchange - which will replace its Whitwood Campus and offer skills for employability locally and regionally. Redevelopment of the Wakefield Campus is also planned and will bring a modern, vibrant learning environment, home to Sixth Form and Higher Education students.
